Pitt Stop Bethel Mural Artwork Request for Qualifications
The Pitt County Arts Council at Emerge, in collaboration with the Pitt County Civic Arts Committee, invites visual artists to submit their credentials for the development and implementation of an outdoor mural on the Bethel Pitt Stop Building located at 7439 Main Street in Bethel, NC. The designated mural area, on the front exterior of the building, is 20’ tall by 32’ wide.
It is desired that the resulting artwork infuses creativity and artistry into a visible location and reflects Bethel’s past, present, and future dreams of the community. The selected artist will gather feedback and inspiration from the community and encourage them to interact and participate during the creative process.

Three finalists will be selected to submit a proposal with a compensation of $500 each.
The Pitt County Civic Arts Committee from the Pitt County Arts Council will manage the application, review process, and coordinate the selection panel.
Eligibility: A rtists must 18 years of age or older.
