Kit Paulson

Kit Paulson is an artist working in Penland, NC. She received her BFA from Alfred University and her MFA from Southern Illinois University. Her work utilizes flameworking and lathe engraving. She has taught nationally and internationally at schools including Penland School of Craft and Corning Museum of Glass.

Chip Shackelford

Chip Shackelford’s studio is in Eastern NC, and his artwork is a fusion of mixed media and Outsider Art. He specializes in blown glass and mixed media paintings. Both demonstrate a colorful palette and are one of a kind. Chip’s pieces have been included in private collections through the United States.

John Shoemaker

John Shoemaker, originally from Pennsylvania, began blowing glass in 2008 while attending Tyler School of Art at Temple University. In addition to earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Glass, John extended his education attending workshops at prestigious craft institutions.
